MAHATHOL QUENCH 22 and 32 are general purpose quenching and Heat Treatment Oils blended from selected low sulphur base stocks having excellent oxidation, chemical and thermal stability high fluidity and low volatility. They have high flash and fire points. These Oils have polar additives with good wetting characteristics to impart accelarated quenching and is recommended for general purpose fast quenching applications requiring hardening of many components such as bolts, set screws, crank shafts axles, camshafts, steering arms, brake drums, etc. MAHATHOL QUENCH 22 and 32 are recommended for components like high speed tools, ball bearings, nuts, bolts etc. These Oils can be used for quenching of components after nitriding. MAHATHOL QUENCH 22 and 32 oils meet IS 2664-1980 (reaffirmed 1993) specifications.

MAHATHOL TRANSOL / TRANSOL EDM developed from highly refined paraffinic base stock, is a premium quality transformer oil with inherit properties of heat transfer, thermal and oxidation stability, besides good electrical properties without use of any of the additives.
MAHATHOL TRANSOL is recommended for use in distribution transformers, power transformers, both for the initial fill and as a replacement fluid to cool and insulate the windings and core. This is also used for switch gears, ciruit breakers. Finds use in the ancillary equipments for the transformers such as brushings, bush bars etc.

MAHATHOL PROTECTOL 22 is a non-solvent type lubricating oil containing soluble corrosion inhibitors to ensure protection against rusting. They are generally applied by dipping, brushing or spraying which leaves behind a thin layer of oil film over the work piece. These oily films can be removed by petroleum solvents by vapour degreasing agents. MAHATHOL PROTECTOL 22 serves as a lubricant and as well as temporary rust protection for in-door/out-door storage operations of black sheets and transportation in steel plants. MAHATHOL PROTECTOL 22 is suitable for internal protection of engines and machining, gear boxes, axle assemblies, oil and fuel pump and lines and oil tanks. The oil film is compatible with the lubricating oil.

MAHATHOL DIP-PEEL COMPOUND has a rubber-like consistency at room temperature and melted for application. This is based on ethyl cellulose jelled with high viscosity index mineral oils and non volatile plastisizer, incorporated with suitable anti-oxidants and binders. Ethyl- Cellulose content is around 25% by weight approximately. This product gives an excellent protection against rust, corrosion and abrasion. This Product finds ideal use for auto-parts, sewing machine, cycle parts, cutters, tool bits, chisels, gears and sprockets, precision tools, spark plugs, bolts and nuts, pistons, dies, rods and pins, surgical instruments, axle, assemblies, nozzles, ball bearings and other various assemblies.
MAHATHOL DIP-PEEL COMPOUND gives 100% protection against rust and corrosion under severe atmospheric conditions, salt water immersion, tropical climate and temperature ranging from -10 Deg. C. to -20 Deg. C. Since this INDUSTRIAL SPECIALITY OILS product has high input resistance, it gives added protection against abrasion or mishandling during transit. The transparency fo the coating helps easy identification of coated parts and enhances the visual appearance. It also reduces packing time. The peelable coating can be re-used thereby gives 50% saving. After peeling the components leaves behind a thin coating of lubricating oil which serves as a natural rust preventive till further operations. This MAHATHOL DIP-PEEL COMPOUND has a unique formulation.
MAHATHOL DIP-PEEL COMPOUND is recommended for dipping temperatures between 180 Deg. C. to 200 Deg. C. which would give approximately 1 mm thick coating. Hardening of the dip-peel compound's film is 10 to 50 seconds depending on the size of the article coated. MAHATHOL DIP-PEEL COMPOUND meets IS-6050/1971 specifications.

Mahathol Protectol DX-510/DX-624 are solvent deposited water displacing type premium quality rust preventive oils. It is recommended to apply these products by immersion/spray method depending on their application. It gives ultra thin film which has excellent rust protection characteristics.
Mahathol Protectol DX-510 is recommended for protection of fine mechanisms, gauges, micrometers, bright steel components and final packing of bearings. It gives reasonable indoors and outdoors protection.

MAHATHOL RUST-OFF COMPOUND is a non-solvent, greasy-type rust preventive formulated with Micrycrystalline wax, carefully chosen oiliness additives, and Petroleum Sulphonates. It forms a non-drying, greasy film on metal surfaces to prevent rust. This rust preventive is applied by brush or spraying after heating it to 50 Deg. C. to 60 Deg. C. temperature. This greasy film can be removed by suitable petroleum solvents.
MAHATHOL RUST-OFF COMPOUND is recommended where a thick protective greasy film is desired and where its removal is not essential. This rust preventive can be applied to many types of assemblies by hot dipping. They are suitable for piston assemblies, oil seals, transmissions and timing chains, single items such as milling, cutters, plain bearing inserts for highly finished as well as normal machined surfaces.
