MAHATHOL NC is an inactive sulphurised cutting oil blended from specially selected high viscosity Index base stocks having oxidation and chemical stability.Chlorine and sulphurised fats are incorporated to provide Anti-weld extreme pressure and oiliness characteristics to these Oils. MAHATHOL NC protects the tool life and enables the use of these Oils for extreme pressure, low / moderate temperature cutting operations where feed rates are high but operative speed is low. MAHATHOL NC provides excellent performance in all machining operations on non-ferrous metals and can also be used for machining of ferrous metals where the severity of operation is not high. This Oil is recommended for Gear hobbing, screw cutting, tapping, milling, reaming etc., and they do not discolour the components. MAHATHOL NC meets IS:3065:1985 (re-affirmed 1990) Type III Grade II specifications.
MAHATHOL HONE 7 is a low viscosity honing Oil with excellent Lubricity characterestics and contains carefully selected anti-wear and anti-rust additives. It has the extra fluidity to ensure quick and through flushing activities ensuring very good surface finish and gives long life to the honing stones. MAHATHOL HONE 7 can also be used for other operations such as turning, drilling and tapping of aluminium alloys and also for certain machining operations of ferrous, non-ferrous metals and copper alloys.
MAHATHOL DRALA-15 is a stable, non-staining refined petroleum base oil blended with fatty oils to impart good wetting characteristics. This Oil has good cooling ability and is recommended for use in wire drawing operations.
MAHATHOL DRALA 66 is a thick viscous dark coloured mineral oil incorporated with special additives to withstand high temperatures encountered in the deep drawing and die forging operations. These Oils have excellent oxidation stability and die cooling effect. They also have Extreme Pressure additives and anti-wear additives for their effective performance. MAHATHOL DRALA 66 is recommended for deep drawing and forging operations steel, ferrous, nickel metals, tubes and their alloys. This can be applied by spray. This enhances the die life and ensures sticky free operations in reduction or final polish.
MAHATHOL TEST OIL is a neat / straight cutting Oil. It also serves as a coolant. This Oil finds extensive use in aluminium alloys grinding, polishing and for honing operations of steel alloys. This Oil being of low viscosity its swift flow cleans the components of the other metal particles during final polish leaving behind a thin film of oil which acts as a rust preventive. MAHATHOL TEST OIL has anti-rust additives along with anti-oxidants and deformers incorporated in it. Thus, this oil becomes versatile in its applications.
Mahathol NC 10Z is a mineral oil based neat cutting oil fortified with esters, anti-misting and EP additives.
